Position in Medical Image Analysis
At the Institute of Medicine, Research Center Juelich, Germany, there is a Post-Doc position open for experts in Medical Image Analysis.
The applicant should have a solid experience in medical image processing, C/C++, MATLAB or IDL programming and knowledge in Microsoft-WINDOWS and/or LINUX/UNIX operating systems.
The main task would be to develop, optimize and validate methods and procedures to study human retinotopy, based on 3D functional MRI. In addition, contributions are expected in non-linear registration and segmentation algorithms for correlative image analysis.
We expect a Ph.D. in one of the fields: computer science, physics, mathematics or biomedical engineering, combined with an experience in medical imaging.
The initial contract will be for 2 years.
