AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi guys,

We routinely use the rescan button after editing the .HEAD file when manually 'nudging' a functional dataset. If we edit the .HEAD origin values, and then hit rescan this, we typically see the functional map move in accordance with the new values. With the newest version, rescan (this or all) does nothing. The functional map does not move. However, if you exit afni entirely and then open it again, the map displays correctly.

We tried to get around this by using the nudge button in the pluggins, but
then the copy geometry switch does not seem to work.

has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a way around it? We are using the following version

GPL AFNI: Analysis of Functional NeuroImages, by RW Cox (rwcox@nih.gov)
This is Version 2.55f of 28 Aug 2003

Thanks,
chris
