AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

The program 3dZcutup can slice and dice, as can the more general program 3dZeropad. You could then use 3dAutomask on each 1-slice dataset to generate a mask of intra-brain voxels, then use 3dmaskave to average the time series. If you don't want to bother with a mask and want to just average all time series, then 3dmaskave can operate without a mask dataset. For your purposes, I'd recommend the -q option to 3dmaskave to generate a "pure" 1D time series of numbers, and redirect the output to a file. You can then do a quick graph of these time series with the 1dplot program.

This should keep you busy a little while, and off the cruel streets of Halifax.
