AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hey all,

I'm super-frustrated... I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm using to3d and 3dANALYZEtoAFNI to convert from SPM .img/.hdr files into an AFNI 3d+Time dataset.

When I do this, and I load AFNI, I am choosing to "view" the dataset The axial view looks good, but the sagittal and coronal views have a problem. They contain one of the volumes (assuming the first), but the first and last 10 slices are just crap. It looks like other slices, but with TV snow all over them.

ANy ideas? here's the two commands I've been trying:

to3d -skip_outliers -time:zt 21 116 3s alt+z -orient PLI -prefix S102 E*.hdr
3dANALYZEtoAFNI -TR 3s -orient PLI -prefix S102 E*.hdr

Thanks for listening, I'm (at least for today) at the end of my rope.

Thanks
Ben
