AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello,

You have all been great at the speed and clarity of your responses. Thanks! Here is my latest question.

I am having trouble removing certain clusters from my functional images. This is what I have done so far:

1) run the 3d Mann Whitney test on 2 sets of datasets, output to MannWhitneytest using this command:
3dMannWhitney -dset1 list -dset2 list -out MannWhitneytest

2) attempt to remove clusters in volumes of less than 1992 mm^3 and cluster connectivity radius 1.41. I have been using this command:
3dmerge -clust1 1.42 1992 -prefix myfile MannWhitneytest

The problem is that I do not seem to be removing any clusters at all from my original MannWhitney test file. I discovered this because I tried several variations on volume sizes to remove, but all of the resulting datasets were the same. Is there another comman I should be using to remove clusters of volume less than a specified value?

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Thank you,
Ellen
