AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Ellen Shlossberg,

To use your alpha sim results, you need to find the mann-whitney statistic associated with p=.001. To find this number load your threshold subbrick in the lower subbrick selector within the afni define function window, and your amplitude in the first subbrick selector. Slide the threshold slider until your p value displays .001. Use this mann-whitney statistic number in your -1thresh option in 3dmerge, along with your minimum cluster size of 1058. The resulting clusters >= to 1058 will have a p value of .05.

Your thinking souds right, so far.
