Available Immediately:

Post-doctoral research position, “A Center of Excellence for Research
on Complementary and Alternative Medicine” at the Martinos Center for
biomedical imaging, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical
School. Research involves a multi-modality approach using
pharmacological/functional MRI, PET, and molecular genetic studies.
Projects relate to investigations of neurotransmitter function in
animals (rodents and non-human primates), studying the effect of
acupuncture, neurodegenerative diseases, and drug abuse. Salary is
competitive and environment is stimulating and challenging. MRI
scanners available for this project are two 4.7T, one 7T, one 9.4T
scanner and one 14T mircroimaging MRI system. In addition, a 306
channel MEG machine and several high resolution microPET cameras are
designated for research. The ideal candidate will have received a
recent PhD in medical physics, physics, physical chemistry, chemistry,
biomolecular, biomedical or electrical engineering. Candidates will be
expected to make at least a two-year commitment. Qualified candidate
