AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Graham, hello:

Fiducial:
1- taken as standard of reference (from Webster's)
2- name for surfaces that approximate layer 4(i think) of the gray matter (my understanding of SureFit's nomenclature)

Run the examples in MakeColorMap -help, they should clarify the meaning of the term. Say you want 256 colors to go from red to green to yellow (these three colors are your fiducial colors) and MakeColorMap would interpolate between them to give you the remaining 253 colors.

By the way, you've exhausted your 10000 free/questions per minute offer. Now pay up with your mugshot to add to our glorious list:

cheers,
