History of AFNI updates

We will no longer be making binaries for Mac OS X 10.2 (the macosx_10.2 package). Our last 10.2 machines will be upgraded to 10.3 this weekend. If you've not upgraded to Panther, you'll either have to upgrade soon or setup to compile AFNI yourself (not terribly difficult).

I'm having trouble with my SGI, so for the moment we aren't making binaries for IRIX 6.5 either. This may be a temporary situation. Or it may not be.

The linux_glibc22 binaries now include a compilation of SUMA. This may or may not work on your system, depending on your installed OpenGL drivers. In the past, users of this package had to compile SUMA themselves.

Support for the linux_glibc22 binaries (compiled on a RedHat 7.3 machine) may dry up someday soon, since there are fewer and fewer such machines available here. Most of us now use RedHat 9, from which the linux_gcc32 binaries are derived.

Binary packages that include SUMA: macosx_10.3, linux_glibc22, linux_gcc32, and solaris28_gcc.
