AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello again,

I have 2 questions about baseline:

1. As far as I understand when you run the 3dDeconvolve with -polort 0, the baseline is estimated with those timepoints unspecified by all the regressors.
My question is how is estimated the baseline when you run 3dDeconvolve with polort default (1)?

======

2. I'm working on an event related analysis and there are 6 conditions in the experimental design. There is no baseline condition (no fixation , no rest). I wonder how is estimated the baseline in this case? Is it a solution to run 3dDeconvolve with polort -1?

=======================

Thank you .
