AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

What do you mean by "cursors"? The "<", ">" keys in a graph window move back and forward in time, as do the left and right arrow keys. At least on my Mac at this moment.> However, the graph window must have "focus". I personally use the following in my .cshrc file:

defaults write com.apple.x11 no_quit_alert -bool true
defaults write com.apple.x11 wm_ffm -bool true
defaults write com.apple.x11 wm_click_through -bool true

The first disables the "are you really sure you want to quit X11?" message, which I dislike intensely. The second makes X11 windows obey "focus follows mouse", rather than the usual Mac "click to focus". The third means that when you click in an X11 window to give X11 and the window focus, that click will also be passed through to the program to take action with.
