AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I am using 3dVol2Surf to map functional +tlrc files to subjects' own
anatomy. The surface models are created by FreeSurfer from subjects' +tlrc
anatomy. It appears that I am losing the highest functional values for
some subjects. For example, in the afni brik the highest value is 13.9 but
in the 3dvol2surf output the highest value is only 10.5. These are t-values,
so it is not good lose the high ones. I am dividing the pial/wm segment
into 5 points, and using the "max" function so seems that I should not
lose the highest values. I don't get any OOB points, so looks like the surface
and the volume are aligned correctly. I can provide sample datasets if
necessary.

thanks,
Rutvik
