AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

OK this is a stupid one, but who else can I ask? I'm out here in Texas with nobody by my 200 brains and the occasional cedar tree...

I'm converting my brains in to Talairach space. When the quality check comes up, I am usually within 0 to 5 mm in each direction. Occasionally, I've got 7-9 mm, especially in the PC to posterior direction. When I go back to check the ACPC alignment, I don't see how I can adjust, really. Everything seems lined up correctly. So, what are normal tolerances for the quality check? 2mm, 5mm, 10mm?

Thanks, and I bow to your copious expertise, as usual.
