AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi there,

I'm using 3dDetrend to remove linear and quadratic trends from my EPI timeseries via the following command line ....

3dDetrend -prefix new_name -vector linear_quadratic_constant.1D name_of_dataset.BRIK with the .1D having 3 columns, one for each trend.

The result is that the graph of the timeseries appears detrended but the image is incredibly blurred & I can no longer view the edges of the brain (like in the original or 3dregistered EPI). Is there a way to detrend and still retain a visible EPI image?

Thanks for your time.
