AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Joel,

There is some redundancy there. Yes, RL will always give a
positive DELTA and LR will always give a negative one.

It's a little unclear to me where you are getting RL from.
The ORIENT_SPECIFIC information is just integers from 0
through 6. Have you decoded them from 3dAttribute, or are
you getting the RL from somewhere else?

As an example for the ORIENT_SPECIFIC field, using 4 instead
of 5 means I-S instead of S-I. But you can also get that
distinction from the sign of DELTA.

At any rate, there is indeed a small redundancy, but if you
are coding this, you will still need all of the fields.

Going back to your original point, in what way does it seem
that adwarp is inverting the coordinate system? Or is there
some other trouble that you are having?
