AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

As you know, I installed the precompiled binaries on my G5. It looks good,
but won't let me run a fico, error message: *** ERROR: failed to open
file /Users/leap/data/pl/M006smooth@4+orig.HEAD for attribute writing;
- Do you have permission to write to this disk?
- Is the disk full?
*** Datablock write error: failure to write attributes - is disk full? do
you have write permission?

Also I can't write a .1D file from a functional underlay graph. error
message: couldn't open for output file 032_032_003.1D

A unix (not a Mac) person ran this:
>[computer :~/data] leap% touch foobar
>[computer :~/data] leap% ls -d foobar
>foobar
He said that this means I should be able to write to disc.
I have about 220 gig of available space.

Is this a problem with precompiled binaries on a G5? or is there some
simple fix?

Thanks for your continuing help.
Penny
