AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all, I have just printed a cluster report (3dclust) from a conjunction analysis. The dataset contains only values 1, 2 or 3 representing 'above-threshold' activations for each of the two conditions (#s 1 & 2) and areas where they overlap (#3). My question is this: In the cluster report, I get centre of maxima coords as well as max intensity coords (they are different). Given my analysis approach I'm ok using centre of maxima coords but I wondered how 'max intensity' was calculated in afni given that all voxels in a cluster will have equal values (i.e. either 1, 2 or 3).

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Gary
