AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Thanks for the quick response Gang.

I am running a type3 (mixed) two factor anova (i.e. 3danova2) with condition contrast as factor A (the factor levels would be the glt contrasts described earlier) and subject as factor B.

I have run the analysis as you have described in paragraph two (condition with 3 levels = factor A) and subject as factor B... then used the 'diff' and 'contr' options at the group level.

I was just curious whether my earlier (i.e. single subject) approach violated any fundamental assumptions as it easily allows me to work back from group analyses to the contrasts at the individual subject level. Thanks again.
