AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all

a hopefully simple question:

if I use 3dTshift with the default interpolation to the middle time point, and then I estimate an iresp with 3dDeconvolve, the time zero of the resulting iresp waveform should be interpreted as lying half a scan past the actual stimulus onset (assuming the stimulus was delivered at the onset of the scan)?

Or, conversely, to have the iresp correctly time-locked to the stimulus onset one should enter a stim_file vector where the stimuli occur half a scan earlier than their original scan number, and use stim_nptr=2?

I hope this is not too confusing, thanks for any comment!
