We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Thanks for bringing up 3dcalc's orstat function, but frankly the docs on what it's supposed to do are clear as... mud
Looking at the docs there's no clear indication of either what it does or even the structure of what it returns.
Does it return a vector(generating multiple volumes) or a single value... I'm guessing a single value?
Assuming single value, what is an "N-th order statistic" in this context? Does it mean:
-- "sort the list of values in order of magnitude, then return the Nth *value*.
.... or....
-- "sort the list of values in order of magnitude, then return N" (ie: the *index* of the value)
... and several examples would help clarify.
