AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hiya Rick,

Thanks for replying! Um, I need to be able to explain how the slice is arrived at. It sounds like AFNI, as you say, just opens the middle slice based on the total number of sag slices, but I must assume that heads are symmetrical in order to take AFNI's word for it, no? I need for the midsag slice to be truly the middle slice of the sag fissure. I'm going to do an analysis of whether the area of the corpus callosum in the midsag slice correlates highly with the volume of the corpus calosum. Perhaps I should just eyeball it?

For the record, I'm using AC-PC aligned images.

Thanks as usual you smart guy.
