AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Dear AFNI gurus,

I was wondering if there is a way to censor time points in a spatially selective manner, I mean, in the context of 3dDeconvolve. My understanding is that if I censor a point, it will apply to all voxels. But because 3dDeconvolve is really independent across space, it would be great to have the ability to have a 3D+t censor file. If this does not exist, could it be supported?

We could easily write something to determine the "outliers" for every voxel (say mean +/- 3SD) and write that out to a file. Then if 3dDeconvolve could use that, it would apply the censoring selectively.

thanks,
Luiz
