As usual among AFNI users, you don't say what kind of computer you are running on when you have problems.

Some computer systems have trouble dealing with option menus (like the Tran menus) within a popup menu (like the Opt menu). On such systems (e.g., Solaris 2.8), you may have to use mouse button 3 (usually the right button) to popup the first menu or to choose from the option sub-menu. On some systems, I've seen cases where you have to use mouse button 3 to popup the menu, then keep holding that down while you use mouse button 1 to choose from the option sub-menu -- a moderately complicated finger exercise. Try various combinations like these.
