AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

AFNI has been updated slightly. Changes include:
* new options to 3dTstat to compute autoregression parameters
* new options to 3dROIstats
* up to 300 levels and 40 contrasts in the 3dANOVA programs
* SUMA now has interactive colorizing and thresholding of datasets defined over surfaces (sort of like AFNI, but a little fancier)
* various defaults in AFNI were modified; these can be reset via environment variables:
-- image crosshairs now display as lines, not voxels
-- controllers are locked instead of unlocked
-- image "save square" is on instead of off

Plus other minor changes that are hard to remember at the moment.

Source is available now. Binaries are being recompiled as I type, and will be available sometime before the end of the universe.
