I have a similar problem, and have libXm.so.3 as a symbolic link to libXm.so.3.0.2, and yet my locate libXm command doesn't show it. Here's the output:
root@osiris-l:~# ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/libXm*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 2005-10-27 14:45 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so.3 -> libXm.so.3.0.2
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2258832 2004-10-07 10:46 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so.3.0.2
root@osiris-l:~# locate libXm
/usr/lib/libXmu.so.6.2.0
/usr/lib/libXmu.so.6
/usr/lib/libXmuu.so.1.0.0
/usr/lib/libXmuu.so.1
/usr/lib/libXmu.a
/usr/lib/libXmu.so
Is there some kind of path that has to be set so that these files can be seen?
I got the problem trying to run skullstrip so I could get @auto_tlrc to work properly.
