AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Jerry,

1. That link is on the HowTo 01 main page. There are
two download links at the bottom, one without the data,
and one including it. This is at the bottom of:
[afni.nimh.nih.gov]

2. Once you right-click, select save-as, and save the
ht01_full.tgz file, then you go to that directory in a
terminal window, and extact the contents of the file,
using the command: "tar xfz ht01_full.tgz".

This will create a howto directory, and ht01_ARzs will
be under it. In the ht01_ARzs directory, you will find
the @ARzs_analyze script, upon which the howto is based.

You can put this howto anywhere. I might recommend you
having an afni directory under your home directory, and
putting it there. Once you extract it, you could have
a path like: /home/jerry/afni/howto.
