Hi Amrapali,
Until you release the mouse, what you are drawing will still look
like an open curve. But once you release the mouse, each point
along your drawn curve will have a sphere placed with that point at
the center. Drawing in sphere mode is effectively drawing tubes.
My questions to you:
1. Once you release the mouse, does the curve look much more thick?
If so, you are seeing the correct result.
2. What are you using for your radius?
If your radius is small, your curves will still look like curves,
even thouh they may have been translated into thin tubes.
3. I don't know what you mean when you say
"it doesn't allow me
to finish that drawing".
Do you mean that you cannot save the dataset? This may be because
you are not drawing on an AFNI dataset. See below.
4. What is the dataset name (just above "Copy Dataset")?
If you are drawing on an mprage dataset, then afni will probably not
let you write it out. You may need to start over and use 3dcopy to
make a new dataset in the AFNI format.
