AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Did you directly download the linux_glibc22.tgz binary package and then untar it locally, or use wget to fetch the files separately? In the first case, I find that the files you mention are marked as "-rwxr-xr-x" when I untar them here. In the second case, I've sometimes seen wget turn off the executable bit in downloaded files, and I don't know how to fix that problem. This is one reason I'm no longer enamored with wget. You could try to adapt the UPDATER script for your purposes: http://afni.nimh.nih.gov/afni/download/via_updater
