Ciao Sylvia,

Most of the times I have had to deal with oblique data, anatomicals are acquired in one of the cardinal planes and functionals are acquired at an oblique plane.
For I files, I have a script that will tell you how to rotate an oblique image to align it with a cardinal plane. The script is called DeOblique and is part of the AFNI matlab library found here [afni.nimh.nih.gov]

Give it a try, assuming you have matlab.

cheers,
-z
