AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello,

We have projected our quantitative RT-PCR data onto specific anatomic locations on the TT atlas generating some lovely outputs and brain slices. We now want to compare and contrast these slices with fMRI slices from a series of published study subjects. According to the publication where I pulled the fMRI slices, "the four rows of images from bottom to top correspond to z = +23, +14, +5, and -5 in Talairach space (Tailarach and Tournoux, 1988)." How can I generate comparable slices with my RT-PCR data? Can I use the z-coordinates described in the paper to get these comparable slices? Would I use the AFNI controller window or some of the other software packages that accompanied the install?

Thanks very much.
