AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi everyone,

I had a question about transforming between talairached and original space -

I have a talairached anatomical dataset, complete with its +orig and +acpc .HEAD files. I also have a set of ROI's, drawn by another lab on their own anatomical dataset and transformed to talairach coordinates.

I was wondering if there was a way to take these roi's made on a different anatomical and currently in talairached space and reverse transform them so that they will align with my +orig anatomical dataset. The ROI dataset and my anatomical dataset align perfectly in talairach space, but I have tried using:

3drefit -apar [my hires ] [ ROI ]
adwarp -apar [my hires +orig] -dpar [ROI + tlrc]

and the ROI dataset does not seem to budge and is resultantly wildly off from my +orig dataset.

Any pointers?

Thanks!
