AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I have a question about the global time.
According to 3dDeconvolve Upgrades -Summer 2004, one format for tname is a single column of numbers, in which case each time is relateive to the start of the first imaging run ("global times"). Do we have to count time lags between runs to calculate time points? For example, if we have 2 runs, each run takes 4 minuttes, and the first stimulus in the second run is presented at 8 sec. if there was a time lag of 1 minute = 60 sec, then the time of the first stimulus would be 240 sec + 8 sec = 248? or 240 sec + 60 sec +8 sec = 308sec?

Thanks,
Ikuko
