AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I would like to know why setting the same p-value in the Define Overlay menu in different scans with the SAME number of time points results in different threshold values. For example, in one scan, a p-value of 9.66e-6 corresponds to a threshold of 0.3489, whereas in another scan the same p-value corresponds to a threshold of 0.3399. Both scans have the same number of time points, the same number of slices, the same matrix size, same FOV, etc. In this case I've set % Change as OLay and Correlation as Threshold.

Can someone please explain?

Thanks,
Cathy
