AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi everyone,

I had a quick question about visualization of data.

I have two points that I would like to see in the same 2D or 3D image (one is active when the other isn't, and I'd like to show both points together to illustrate this). To this end, I've tried to use AFNI's Render [new] plugin, but unfortunately it seems that I can do two individual cutouts but not one cutout that is at the angle that shows both these points together on the same cutout plane of the brain.

I think I need a user-specified oblique section of the brain...is this possible? Is it possible to select the angle of the cutout in AFNI's render plugin? Any suggestions on how to get this one plane?

Thanks!
