I've released a new version of the Permutation Test plugin, available at
"[www.mattababy.org];.

This version adds the ability to read the byte-valued mask files produced by
3dAutomask. (Previously the program could use only word-valued masks, of the
type produced by the Threshold plugin.)

This actually is rather a simple modification which I implemented on 13 August
2003 for Axel Muller. At that time I decided not to release it immediately
since I was thinking that I'd soon get round to implementing more features.
Then a year and half went by.

I've rolled into this version the K&R-to-ANSI conversion that someone at NIH
did on plug_permtest.c sometime since the last release -- though not without
some regret, since I think that all things in life should remind us of sometime
around June 1977, when Elvis was king, Star Wars was the rage, the war was over,Jimmy Carter was in the White House, US foreign policy was turning humane, and
programs written in K&R C were blithely running on PDP-11's.
