AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

The crash previously reported in [afni.nimh.nih.gov] should be fixed now. The problem occurred when a "-stim_base" time series was the last column in the design matrix. A bad indexing error would cause an attempt to write into the NEXT column, which in this case does not exist. This mistake should not have caused any errors in previous analyses when the "-stim_base" column was not the last column.

Source code and Linux binaries are available now. Other binaries will be compiled and put on the site within the hour.

Some SUMA upgrades are also bundled into this upgrade. The AFNI version number does NOT change today.

Sorry about this -- Bob Cox
