AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Eswar,

I suspect that you have an opaque color plane atop of the ROI colorplane.
The fill color of an ROI is actually a color plane and is subject to the transparency and stacking order business. However, the nodes forming the contours are always drawn on top so they are always visible.

Try the following:
1- In the Surface Controller (ctrl+s), block 'Dset Controls', click on '1 Only'
2- Switch Dset and select DefROIpl (Default ROI plane)
Now the only thing visible should be the ROI plane and you should be able to fill to your heart's delight (I hope).

If you want to see the function or whatever data you want below your ROI then turn '1 Only' off, select the DefROIpl and move it up to the top of the stack using the 'Ord' arrows in 'Dset Controls'

Hope that helps.

cheers,
-ziad
