AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

Sorry to dredge this topic up again, but working in the same lab as Anjali, another person has come across this same problem. The problem started when she first worked on a Mac, before that time she had drawn her ROIs exclusively on a Linux box. Do you think that the same data be accessed by two different types of machines would be the problem? And if so, is there a way to fix it?

Also, just a note on byte swapping, when most the scripts that we have here run, they check for the operating system, and if the scripts are being run on a Mac box then the to3d commands are not given a -2swap flag. If they to3d commands are being run on a Linux box they are given -2swap flag. Could this be a problem? And is there a way around this too? Thanks so much.
