AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all,

I'm following up the post below, re: rest period - deactivation problem...

I've tried a polort of 3, and looking at the fit I'm seeing bumps where there should be depressions corresponding to my rest period - which explains my block-related deactivations.

Due to the short rest period, we've decided to retry the analysis using 3dfim+ with canonicals of different time delays - to see if we can catch the 'off' period that way.

Also, due to the inclusion of a 5sec countdown at the beginning of each run (which threw our stimulus timing off the TR of 2seconds), we want to use canonicals of 1sec resolution and need to resample/interpolate the time series at 1sec resolution - how can this be done?

If anyone has any other suggestions please post!!
Thanks, Clare
