Yeah, it seems that you need to put -lXt very early in the link line. That link line from the previous message is missing a few ('cause it was a stripped down example). Try just moving -lXt to the beginning of the list in Makefile.linux_gcc32 (which is appropriate for FC4, as far as I know).
