AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Dear bob,

Thank you very much and I tried your suggestion. When I do "save pnm", I used the "TS.jpg" as the prefix of the filename, and I got a file with the name "TS.jpg.pnm". Then I removed the ".pnm". Did I understand you correctly?

If I did correctly, there is still another problem: the size of the file is too huge! If I use "save pnm" and removed ".pnm" from the filename, I got a file with the size of 2086KB. However, if I use the key "Print Screen" of the keyboard and save the screen as a ".jpg" file, the size of the created file is only 46KB (I did in this way when I posted the message " another question about filtering with 3dFourier" to the message board).

What is the best way to get an JPEG file from the Graph Window?

Best!

Meng
