AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello afni experts-

A quick question on 3dFDR- I was using the -cdep flag with a tlrc data set based on output from 3dANOVA. HOwever, the results seem to be over-corrected compared to other results that i obtained with alphasim (using a p of .001 and 250 ul volume). In the FDR analyses there were no values above 1.77. When I ran the same command using the -cind falg the results between FDR (thresholding at 1.96) and the spatial/parametric threshold analysis looked very similar.

Is the "i" in the cdep equation equal to the number of tlrc voxels (1 x1 x1) or equal to original number of voxels (4 x 4 x 5) as is the case in alphasim?

thanks in advance-
