AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

This is the first time we are going to do an event related
design. By following the How-To #3, I ended up with a stimulus timing sequence with the lowest norm stand dev (i.e. 0 0 1 0 1 1 1 1 .....).

I needed help to know if the numbers in the sequence
correspond to TRs, trial presentation trials, or both. In other
words, does the number “1” in the sequence represent one stimulus trial itself, or a TR during a stimulus presentation? We have a TR of 3.8 secs and each of our stimulus presentation trials lasts 5.4 secs, so we can not show a trial for each repetition. Any help to clarify this would be great, thanks!
