AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

Currently @SUMA_AlignToExperiment doesn't (without a hack) let one output the aligned volume into a different directory than where the surface volume resides.

The reason such an option would be useful is because one may want to align different data sets to the same surface (e.g. same subject participates in two studies and therefore has to experimental volumes). My preference would be to keep the original surface volume in the same directory as the suma "spec" files and to keep "Alnd" volumes in a directory with the experimental data. I guess the current solution is to run the script and then move the "Alnd" file to the experimental directory. I guess I'm nitpicking... But if the script is slated to be updated keep this suggestion in mind.

thanks,
