AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Dear Afni experts,

I am trying to run a group analysis using 3dANOVA2. I am looking at two conditions B and C and want to see the main effect of each across two subjects. Each individual's data looks fine, and has appropriate motor strip activations, however, the mean activations for each condition (given by -amean 1 and 2 respectively) show no significant activations.

In addition, the tailairached activations fit the talairached anatomy fine before the ANOVA, but seem shifted (posterior and inferior) following the anova.

Below is my code for this ANOVA:

3dANOVA2 -type 3 -alevels 2 -blevels 2 -dset 1 1 B_AB_bf_irf_mean2+tlrc -dset 2 1 C_AB_bf_irf_mean2+tlrc -dset 1 2 B_BT_bf_irf_mean2+tlrc -dset 2 2 C_BT_bf_irf_mean2+tlrc -amean 1 B -amean 2 C -acontr -1 1 BvC -fa stimEffect -bucket ANOVA_2

Let me know if you need me to attach the data.

Thanks
Sarah
