AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Check this out, and add yourself!

In other news, I've added 2 new binary packages to the mix:

macosx_10.4_G5 = binaries for Mac OS X 10.4, compiled for the G5 CPU

solaris29_suncc_64 = binaries for Solaris 9, compiled in 64-bit mode

64-bit compilation allows larger datasets and larger 3dDeconvolve runs -- if you've got the RAM. The linux_gcc_64 and altix_icc binaries are also compiled in 64-bit mode. I can't yet compile AFNI for Mac OS X 10.4 in 64-bit mode since the support X11 libraries Apple supplies don't include 64-bit versions, and AFNI has to link with these libraries.
