AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I'm conducting a longitudinal study of picture-naming in which neurologically intact volunteers are asked to be scanned four times, once every four weeks. I have already completed the first scan for each subject, some of whom are also participating in a joint MEG study utilizing the same paradigm. For those also doing MEG, I acquired an MP-RAGE for the structural scan. However for those not doing MEG, I acquired a 3D FSPGR.
My question is as follows: For the subsequent scans of the subjects for whom I acquired a 3D FSPGR, can I switch to an MP-RAGE? Or will I have trouble comparing the second, third and fourth scans with the first one if I switch now?
Thank you,
Whitney
