AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

History of AFNI updates

I recently installed the new update for AFNI (running on Mac G5, OS 10.4.3) and can no longer save more than one axial/sagittal/coronal view out as image files (.jpg, .gif, .tif, etc.). I can successfully navigate through the pop-up window requesting a file name prefix and the subsequent window requesting a starting image number, however, the final window requesting an ending image number opens and then immediately closes and no images are saved. I can save images successfully, though, if I choose the "save one" box in the display menu...

To the best of my knowledge, I have the most up-to-date versions of openmotif3, glib2, and netpbm-bin. Is there some new support program that I need to have installed, or is this a bug with the new update, as I did not have this problem before installing the new update?

Thanks,

Suzanne Witt
