Hi Cody,

Usually when I post a notice that something has been fixed or a new feature added, binaries post-dating the message would include the fixes.

Unfortunately, the cute coddle-the-weak looking download page contains no date stamps. It is possible however to see the creation date of the archive at this link:
[afni.nimh.nih.gov]
There you would see the entire tgz directory listing with the time stamps.
You can sort by date and see if the binaries archive you want had been recently created.

The alternative as Bob suggested is to wait for ~10 hours after the posting and download...
