AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello AFNI Nation,

I have a multi echo scan that I'd like to analyze in AFNI (the scan was done on the Phillips LDRR 3T). The scan itself has sixteen slices, each slice containg six echoes, with a TE of 20 s.

After converting the .par and .rec into a .brik and .head, I get one signal intensity value at each voxel, instead of the anticipated six. This calculation is done via 3dROIstats (after having drawn the ROI's, of course).

Should I be using a different command, aside from 3dROIstats? Is there a special way that I need to use to3d in order to convert the dataset? Essentially, I thought I knew what I was doing, but apparantly not. Please ask any pertinent questions.
